On the most recent Nightride.fm show with Kaarin Zoe Lee on August 2, 2022, I overheard a discussion about how people don't know what Synthwave is, but they know what Electronic music is... Same issue I discussed in an earlier Synthpoplover post about the "ALT ELECTRONIC NATION -- A discussion".
In this Absynth Blog post, the author tells an interesting story about some feedback received on a song, and how it resulted in some research and ultimately the Blog post.
The post, entitled "Synthwave and its Multiple Personality Disorder" is an interesting discussion and the author hopes "interesting enough for you to at least spend some time thinking about it"
